DESCRIPTION:This event has passed. \n				\n				\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n					\n	Museums Meander				\n				\n				\n				\n					\n		\n			March 18\, 2026\n\n		\n\n\n	\n				\n				\n					\n		\n					\n		\n				\n						\n					\n			\n						\n				\n									Today’s rally theme: Museums Meander. A choice of three runs:  Long run: 103 km / 64 mile Medium run: 90 km / 56 mile Veterans short run: 61 km / 38 mile  Runs are full day\, out and back with an organised lunch stop and finish at the evening’s event. As we are all interested in history\, today’s runs will have something for everyone: Willow Bank Heritage Village is a fun and interactive living museum village; Higgins Heritage Park is heaven for enthusiasts of old machinery\, tractors\, trucks\, cars\, and steam engines; there will also be a visit to a popular art and craft seaside location followed by a not-to– be-missed visit to the Nelson Classic Car Museum which will be opening its doors late for us so you can explore one of New Zealand’s best classic car collections. (Entry to the museum has been provided to the club by the museum at a heavily discounted rate and is included in your festival entry. You will need to show your lanyard for entry.)  In the evening:Join your fellow participants for a Night On The Town in Nelson. We will assemble our cars in the Nelson CBD for a public display and you will be free to sample the best cuisine Nelson has to offer. The Nelson hospitality community is working together to welcome you to Nelson with exciting offerings this evening. Details to follow in late 2025 or early 2026.
