Vero International Festival of Historic Motoring 2026

The Vero International Festival of Historic Motoring is an event organised by the Vintage Car Club of New Zealand every 4 years to celebrate veteran, vintage, and classic vehicles and the people who love them. This is an international rally that attracts participants from all over the world and New Zealand.

In 2026 this exciting event takes place in the Nelson Tasman region over the course of the week of 15th to 21st March. Early registrations have closed but limited late registrations are still available and will be processed online using Humanitix ticketing. Some options are limited so register as soon as you can so you don’t miss out.

The costs for entering are as follows:
Late Registration Main Entrant: $720;
Navigator/Co-driver/Additional Adult Passengers: $115 each;
Child Passengers: $10 each;
Teams Relay Challenge: $50 (limited to 150 entries).

Prices are in New Zealand dollars and include fees and GST.

Items you'll need to complete registration:

Your VCC membership number or overseas club membership details;

Your vehicle details, including a short history or description for publishing in a car spotters guide (up to 60 words);
A digital photograph of your vehicle to upload (less than 10mb and preferably a horizontal 3/4 view of the whole vehicle from the front - this will be used in the festival rally booklet);
Your credit card or bank account details;
The names and details of all those who will take part in the festival in your vehicle;
Festival regulations read and understood

If you do not currently know which of your vehicles you will bring to the festival please register the most likely vehicle. If you are planning to borrow a vehicle (and don’t know what it is yet) there is an option for you to select during ticketing to avoid needing to enter details for now. Once you know which vehicle you are bringing these can be updated by clicking “Manage order” in your ticketing email.

Lunches, dinners, and Grand Finale tickets will be available to purchase after registrations close in late 2025 as some options will depend on numbers attending. We’ll contact entrants with options.
